Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner was born Lori Husman. She is an American journalist and television host who is a Shark for the ABC reality program Shark Tank. Her interest in creating customized jewelry during her time in college. She continued to design and sell them after she was struck by the idea of creating a plastic jewelry organizer for earring, and showed it to women walking in public to gauge their reactions. The product was patent-protected after which she began selling it online and off. Her business continued to expand with new merchandise. She has so far created and launched over 1,000 profitable products. She also holds over 120 US as well as International patents. Being a sharp thinker and having a solid business sense, she can tell instantly if a product is a "hero or a zero" and has achieved 90 percent of her success. Being of the belief that if a person has the chance to succeed, they have to do something to assist others, she makes annual contribution to numerous charities.
