Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a performer, writer as well as director and producer. Her most well-known part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who has a career as an artist. Benson was brought up in an Reform Synagogue by her Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies including The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. Her creative talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010).
