In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She gave a stellar performance as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino.
