Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. A half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentinan of Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was painful, and she refused to study English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. After she turned 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor started in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as model for professional models.
